About Us

Compassionate Defense. Proven Experience. Client-Focused Representation.

Lindsay Vanik is a dedicated criminal defense attorney committed to protecting the rights and futures of individuals accused of crimes throughout Texas. Since 2018, she has focused her practice on providing personalized, compassionate, and client-centered defense for those navigating the criminal justice system.

Lindsay is a graduate of UCLA School of Law (Class of 2011) — one of the nation’s top law schools. Before founding the Law Office of Lindsay Vanik, she served as both a Harris County prosecutor and a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) prosecutor, where she handled a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases. During her time with DPS, she gained extensive experience conducting Administrative License Revocation (ALR) hearings, giving her an insider’s understanding of how these proceedings work and how to effectively defend clients facing license suspension.

This unique combination of prosecution and defense experience allows Lindsay to see every case from both sides — anticipating the state’s strategies while crafting strong, tailored defenses for her clients.

Lindsay has also completed Gas Chromatograph training at Axion Labs in Chicago, Illinois, providing her with advanced knowledge of the science behind DWI and drug testing. She is a proud member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCDLA) and the Texas Bar College, reflecting her ongoing dedication to excellence and continuing education.

At the Law Office of Lindsay Vanik, clients are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Lindsay takes the time to listen, explain, and advocate — ensuring that every client understands their rights and options. She believes that being accused of a crime doesn’t define a person and works tirelessly to protect each client’s record, reputation, and future.
